Zero v0.8.0

M8 milestone: Zero IDE, a Tauri desktop wrap around the existing Zero daemon/web client. Version now aligned across all Zero products (CLI, VS Code extension, desktop app).

Downloads

• Zero IDE (macOS, Apple Silicon) - Zero_0.8.0_aarch64.dmg. Opens the workbench in a native window, with a bundled offline daemon (editor, terminal, chat, completions).
  Note: this build is ad-hoc signed only (no Apple Developer account yet), so macOS Gatekeeper will block the first launch as "unidentified developer." Right-click (or Control-click) the app in Finder and choose Open to bypass this once.
• Zero VS Code extension - zero-vscode-0.8.0.vsix. Install with:

  code --install-extension zero-vscode-0.8.0.vsix
  

What's new in M8

• Native "Open Folder" picker, remembered workspace on relaunch
• Bundled portable node runtime for the terminal (PTY)
• Inline file-tree create/rename/delete (replacing browser dialogs that don't work in Tauri's webview)
• Version now shown in the workbench status bar and the desktop window title
