Zero IDE (macOS, Apple Silicon) - Zero_0.8.6_aarch64.dmg. Ad-hoc
signed only - macOS Gatekeeper will block the first launch as
"unidentified developer." Right-click (or Control-click) the app in
Finder and choose Open to bypass this once.
Zero VS Code extension - zero-vscode-0.8.6.vsix. Install with:

Markdown / image / PDF viewers in the workbench

Opening a .md file now shows a live split view: the CodeMirror source (still fully editable and saveable) alongside a rendered Markdown preview.
Opening an image (.png/.jpg/.jpeg/.gif/.svg/.webp) shows a dedicated viewer with zoom in/out/reset controls.
Opening a .pdf embeds it via the browser's native PDF renderer (an installed Adobe Acrobat extension picks it up transparently, with no extra code needed).
Added an fs/readBinary RPC, implemented identically in the daemon and in Zero Lite, so binary files can be read without being corrupted by the text-only fs/read path.
Markdown preview output is sanitized (DOMPurify) before rendering.

Zero IDE (M8.5) polish

Added a File > Open Folder... menu item for multi-window use.
Fixed a main-thread dialog deadlock by making menu dialog callbacks non-blocking.
Opening a second workspace now happens off the main thread.
Sidecar startup now has a timeout instead of hanging indefinitely.
Sidecar state is now keyed per window label (correctness fix for multi-window).

Process
