🎬 Playback

• Subtitles line themselves up — a subtitle that runs a few seconds early or late is now retimed automatically while you watch. The player listens to audio it has already decoded rather than re-downloading the stream to hear it, so the first answer lands about twenty seconds in, and a verify pass keeps checking the part you're actually watching so a file that drifts halfway through heals itself. Every offset is remembered per subtitle, so anything ever synced — by hand or by machine — snaps into place instantly next time. Off by default: turn it on under Settings → Playback. The moment you nudge timing yourself, it stands down.
• Skip intro and credits, in both players — segment markers arrive per episode and the skip action stays reachable even with the controls hidden. IntroDB and TheIntroDB join SkipDB as sources, and an automatic mode falls back through them so one provider missing an episode no longer means no button.
• A smaller skip button — it was a wide pill that, on focus, filled white and grew 5% and lifted on a shadow and gained a glow ring. It's now a small squared chip that simply inverts, the way the streaming apps do it.

😴 Sleep

• The TV stops itself when you fall asleep — a sleep timer in all three players: a countdown, or end of episode for when a series is running. It saves your position, pauses, and lets the screen actually go dark — both native players were pinning the display on, so a plain pause would have left the TV lit until morning. The stop also latches, so a hand-off already in flight (an auto-advance, a link being resolved) can't quietly resume playback behind it. Live channels are offered the countdown only, since there's no episode end to stop at.

📺 IPTV — new looks

• The cockpit has styles — pick under Settings → IPTV → Appearance: Command Center (the shipped look, still the default), First Edition (editorial ink with a serif hero over the guide), or Master Control (a black broadcast console with a status strip, a six-hour timeline with a live playhead, and mono numerals throughout). The source rail reads as ruled, titled sections in every style.
• Four looks for the in-player guide — the zap banner and channel guide you see during playback were carrying six unrelated accent colours. They now share one vocabulary in Classic (default, unchanged), Cinema Glass, Midnight Edition and Master Control, on phones, desktop and Android TV alike. Settings → IPTV → Player guide.
• Phone IPTV settings opens on a hub — sources, lists, hidden categories, startup, continue watching, looks and recording were one long scroll. They're now a short menu, each row showing its current state, mirroring how the TV rail works.
• Hiding a category is findable — it was an unmarked long-press. Hideable categories now carry an eye you can tap, and the picker says so.

⚙️ Settings

• Appearance, in one place — every look and layout switch was scattered up to five pages deep: TV home layout inside Home Screen, sidebar and Discover and screen size under Home & Display, the two IPTV looks buried in IPTV settings, phone navigation behind a dialog. There's now a top-level Appearance section on phone, on the TV rail, and in settings search, with each row landing on the actual picker.

📲 Moving to a new device

• Your IPTV setup travels — backups and Send Setup to TV carried debrid keys, trackers, add-ons and search engines but left IPTV behind. Providers, starred channels and custom lists now come along, and a channel arriving at a TV that already knows that panel re-binds to the local provider instead of arriving orphaned. WebDAV servers and Jackett/Prowlarr, which were in backups but never in Send Setup to TV, are fixed by the same change. Playlists you imported from a file are excluded — the whole M3U is their definition, too large to send — and both transports now say so instead of quietly shipping fewer providers than you have.

🐛 Fixes

• The IPTV rail stops changing source when you press RIGHT — walking toward the guide switched what you were browsing. Arrows move, the centre button selects.
• Recording says when it can't — starting a recording on a channel the recorder can't capture (Samsung TV Plus and other adaptive streams) reported success and left nothing behind. It now checks before starting and tells you.
• No more skip button on the episode you just left — pressing next-episode flashed "Skip intro" from the outgoing episode until the new one opened.
