Vastavik Learning v1.0.48 — Release Notes

Welcome to Vastavik Learning v1.0.48! This major security, moderation, and authentication release introduces real-time account ban and purge enforcement, an interactive high-contrast NeoBrutalist Banned Screen, instant session revocation, and synchronization with the Vastavik Learning Admin Platform's cold storage archival system.

🚫 What's New & Security Hardening

1. 🛡️ Real-Time Account Ban & Revocation Detection

  • Instant Firestore Revocation Listener: BanManager continuously monitors the student's status in Firestore. If an administrator deletes or bans an account, the active session is revoked immediately on the device.
  • Session Purge & Token Invalidation: Automatically invalidates TokenManager JWT tokens, signs out of FirebaseAuth, and purges cached local user_profile SharedPreferences.
  • Auto-Logout & Route Locking: Uses popUpTo(0) { inclusive = true } to clear the backstack and lock navigation, securely redirecting the device to the Account Banned screen and preventing back-navigation into protected courses or chats.

2. 🎨 NeoBrutalist Banned Screen (BannedScreen)

  • High-Contrast NeoBrutalist Aesthetic: Designed with thick black borders, retro box offset drop shadows, Google Font Roboto Slab typography, and high-visibility hazard warning badges.
  • Transparent Moderation Notice: Clearly explains to the user that their account was terminated according to platform policies and that historical progress was purged.
  • Fresh Account Onboarding: Direct, sanitized pathway for users to register a fresh account with clean credentials if desired.

3. 🔄 Complete End-to-End Archival Integration

  • Seamlessly pairs with the Vastavik Learning Backend and Admin Web Dashboard:
    • When an admin archives or deletes a student in the admin panel, the student's entire snapshot (profile, courses, notes, transactions, chats) is preserved in a dedicated separate Firestore collection (deleted_students_archive).
    • Active credentials and Firestore documents are simultaneously wiped clean, instantly triggering the in-app ban sequence on the user's device.

4. 🧩 Companion Extension Compatibility

  • Fully verified and bundled with the latest companion extension APK (vastavik-codeoss-extension.apk, version 16) for Monaco / VS Code Web sandboxed execution.
