Program

OpenGL

• Added an one-time messagebox warning if the user launches the OpenGL executable telling them that is disables the viewports and to use the Vulkan executable if possible.
• Added messages in the editor menubars for the Map/Model/Texture Editors when Smithbox is in OpenGL mode so users understand why the viewport/texture viewer doesn't work.
• Added warning message in Icon Preview decorator if in OpenGL mode.

Project

VFS

• Changed the VFS preference for vanilla reads to prefer reading from the archives first, only falling back to loose files if the file isn't found. Before hand, it preferred loose files, which can become out-of-date, causing confusion after updates since it would require a new file unpack for the files to appear in Smithbox.
  • There is preference option to toggle this behavior back if needed.

Project Merge

• Added Project Merge tool: allows the user to merge together 2 or more projects (only handles internal conflicts for regulation files) - Credit to trlam125

Map Editor

Duplicate Action

• Added the ability to randomise the duplicated map object's rotation on X/Y/Z axis by a random range upon duplication.

Bugfixes

• Fixed the ACB saving process so the edited ACB file's binder is actually re-written when saving.
• Fixed the same binder save bug with BTAB and BTPB for DS2/DS2S projects.

Model Editor

Bugfixes

• Fixed a potential crash in the Model Editor if in OpenGL mode where the Pull to Camera action / Frame action would try and use a null viewport.
• Fixed an issue with the Mesh Field toggle in the Model Editor where the filtering wasn't being applied to the class list section.

Param Editor

Paramdef

• Updated Param Upgrader for ER regulation 1.17.1

Data Transfer

• Added ability to set which fields are included in exported CSV when in Window mode in the Export Tab
• Allowed CSV import to function with ID,, rather than requiring ID,Name,
• Added option to ignore existing rows when importing CSV, so only new row additions occur, skipping any edits to existing rows

Tables

• Added diff coloring for Table row when any of its members are within the vanilla diff cache.

Regulation Merge

• Added Regulation Merge tool: allows the user to merge together 2 or more regulations - Credit to trlam125
• Added Delta Merge tool: allows the user to merge together 2 or more delta patches - Credit to trlam125

Comprehensive Backup

• Added option for constant backups to be created on param save, stored under a timestamp folder, retaining complete history of param changes over time.

Bugfixes

• Fixed a crash when CSV importing if a param had not been selected, resulting in ParamIO.ApplyCSV being passed a null activeParam string.
• Added fix for difference checker to account for indexed rows.
• Adjusted modified export for the Param Delta Patcher so it uses the vanilla diff cache, meaning export properly works for indexed rows.

Havok Editor

File Support

• Added support for DS3 havok files.

Aliases

• Added alias support for havok objects (used for annotating the clip generators).

Script Reloader

• Added Script Reloader tool that allows for any of the HKS files to be reloaded.
  • Includes a file watch option that will automatically reload a HKS file if it is saved.
  • Supports ER and DS3 1.15.0

File Browser

Folder Export

• Added ability to export all files from selected VFS folder.
