Move session adoption filesystem and SQLite reads off the synchronous server path. Share asynchronous metadata reads and preserve adapter behavior.
Validation: TypeScript check passed. The automated test suite passed. The release build passed. Runtime coverage and load measurements are limited to the exercised paths; this release does not assert that every workload was benchmarked.
