  • Renamed to IdeSense and established as an independent project, forked from jetbrains-index-mcp-plugin by Carmel Hecht (MIT). New plugin id com.github.vcth4nh.idesense; MCP server ids renamed <ide>-index → <ide>-idesense. Existing users must update their MCP client config to the new server name.

Install: download the .zip asset below, then Settings → Plugins → ⚙️ → Install plugin from disk… in any JetBrains IDE.
