Changed
- Tools > Options > GrayLog > General is now a table of rules (on/off, name, regular expression, ignore case, style)
with Add, Remove, Move up/down and Reset to defaults, an on/off checkbox, and a field to test a line of code. - Style colors and italic are edited on the same page (color picker and preview); they are no longer in Fonts and Colors.
- Default color is Olive (Style 1; Style 2 is Olive italic; Style 3 is Gray).
- Classification reads and matches each line once per request.
Added
- Predefined rules: "Logger calls" (enabled), "Console output" and "Debug / Trace output" (disabled).
- A rule whose regular expression exceeds the 50 ms match timeout is disabled until the settings are changed,
with a one-time warning.
Upgrade note
Settings use a new storage format: rules customized in 2.0.0 are replaced by the defaults.
