Releases: velofy/pawse
Release list
Pawse v0.2.6
Documentation and metadata release. The app is the same as 0.2.5.
What changed
- Documentation moved to https://velofy.co/pawse/. The old GitHub Pages site forwards there.
- README: the Homebrew tap is now
velofy/tap, and the multi-monitor claim was corrected to primary display only. - Package metadata points at the new docs and at github.com/velofy/pawse.
- Added CHANGELOG.md.
- The release workflow text now names the right dog and gives the current macOS first-launch steps.
Install
- macOS (Intel and Apple silicon):
brew install --cask velofy/tap/pawse, or downloadPawse_0.2.6_universal.dmgbelow and drag Pawse to Applications. - Windows: download
Pawse_0.2.6_x64-setup.exebelow and run it.
The builds are not signed with a developer certificate and not notarised by Apple. The macOS app is ad-hoc signed only.
- macOS, direct download: if macOS says Pawse is damaged or cannot be opened, run
xattr -cr /Applications/Pawse.apponce, or use System Settings, Privacy & Security, Open Anyway. The Homebrew cask clears the quarantine flag for you. - Windows: if SmartScreen appears, choose More info, then Run anyway.
Documentation
Pawse 0.2.5
Fixes the macOS "damaged" install error and the break overlay glitches.
- macOS no longer says "damaged." The app bundle is now ad-hoc signed, so a DMG downloaded in a browser stops tripping Gatekeeper. If you still see it on an older download, install via Homebrew or run
xattr -cr /Applications/Pawse.apponce. - The break takes over your primary display only, as one clean window. This removes the stacked bubbles and the black overlay that showed up on a second monitor.
- The Control Panel now hides during a break and returns after.
Install
- macOS:
brew tap anishfyi/tap && brew install --cask pawse, or download the universal DMG below. - Windows: download the
.exebelow.
Pawse v0.2.4
π Pawse v0.2.4
- Fix the dog appearing to zoom in and get cropped. The source footage was a
slow camera push-in; the clips are now rebuilt from the frames where the dog
holds a constant size and stays fully framed. No zoom, no crop, just natural
head movement.
Install (macOS, Apple Silicon):
brew tap anishfyi/tap
brew install --cask pawsePawse v0.2.3
π Pawse v0.2.3
- Remove the dog bob/zoom (the dog now just sits and looks around naturally).
- The Control Panel opens on launch and from the menu bar (Open Control Panel).
- Cache-bust the site demo video.
Install (macOS, Apple Silicon):
brew tap anishfyi/tap
brew install --cask pawsePawse v0.2.2
π Pawse v0.2.2
- Fix the dog getting clipped at the bottom during the idle bob (site demo + app).
- Shrink the thought box, countdown ring, and dots in the app to match the site.
- Same pomeranian, zero-network, local-only.
Install (macOS, Apple Silicon):
brew tap anishfyi/tap
brew install --cask pawseApple Silicon DMG. Universal + Windows builds come from the CI workflow on a pushed tag.
