Birth Data Format

All commands use the same format:

"YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM TZ LAT LON"

Timezone

Format	Meaning	Example
+0530	HHMM signed offset	India (UTC+5:30)
+0100		Central European
-0500		Eastern US (EST)
-2.0	Decimal hours	UTC+2 summer

Convention: positive = east of GMT. +0530 = India, -0500 = EST.

Latitude / Longitude

• Latitude: positive = North, negative = South
• Longitude: positive = East, negative = West (or positive for both in some formats)

Use the Find button in the GUI or jhora lagnas to verify.

City Search

In the GUI, type a city name in the "City" field and click Find. The SQLite atlas (34,006 cities) auto-fills lat, lon, and timezone.

In the TUI, enter birth data through sequential dialogs after pressing 1.
