Choose a tag to compare

@versacecrispies versacecrispies released this 24 Apr 03:51

Diagnostic build for M5

This build adds detailed logging to figure out why M5 detection isn't working yet.

If you're on M5 and the waveform is flat:

  1. Download and open this build
  2. Open Console.app (in /Applications/Utilities)
  3. In the search bar, type Tapify and press Enter
  4. Open Tapify and go to the Tap Test tab
  5. Copy and paste the [Tapify] log lines back to the issue

That output will tell us exactly which devices are being found and what their report sizes are.

Tapify v1.2.0

@versacecrispies versacecrispies released this 23 Apr 17:42

What's new

  • M5 support — Tapify now works on MacBook Air M5 (and any future Apple Silicon). The M5 changed how its accelerometer is exposed via IOKit HID, causing the device to go undetected on earlier builds. This release fixes that.
