Ghosttea is a native Ghostty-powered terminal runtime and desktop experience for Electron applications.

This release publishes six npm packages and six Rust crates under one shared version.

Changed

  • Pin the registry release of Truffle 0.7.6, replacing 0.7.2. Applications sharing an application-owned Truffle node must resolve the same version. The upgrade carries the Apple mesh runtime, accepted-peer identity, and listener-teardown fixes from 0.7.3 through 0.7.6, and introduces no breaking API changes.
  • Advance the Swift package lock to the truffle-v0.7.6 tag. Every hash-locked input—the TailscaleKit privacy manifest, libtailscale patch, materializer contracts, and pinned libtailscale revision—is byte-identical to the previous lock.

Upgrading

truffle-core is pinned exactly, and every crate sharing an application-owned Truffle node must resolve the identical version so its Node type matches. Applications on 0.2.0 are pinned to truffle-core 0.7.2; moving to 0.3.0 moves them to 0.7.6. Update both together.

Requirements

Node 22+, Rust 1.88+, and a POSIX host for the current PTY backend. The current native artifact targets Apple Silicon macOS.

Provenance

This is the first Ghosttea release published through the trusted-publishing workflow. All six npm packages carry provenance attestations generated from the publish-release.yml OIDC identity, and each Rust crate was uploaded with a short-lived crates.io token minted for that job. The 0.2.0 artifacts were published manually and carry no attestations; because registry versions are immutable, that cannot be changed retroactively.

Verification

Qualified with the full desktop release gate, including a 256-session ghosttead lifecycle soak that held RSS growth to 0.38 MiB with zero thread growth. npm audit and cargo audit are clean, and the Truffle upgrade was additionally validated against a live two-node QUIC round-trip over Tailscale rather than compile and unit tests alone.
