Documentation-only PATCH over v1.1.0 — no public-API or behaviour change; identical contract (CONFORMANCE_FLOOR stays 1.0.0). pip install --upgrade views-frames.

Documentation

  • README: a "Which estimator?" note (frozen map_estimate/hdi/quantiles vs the coherent-tower tower_point/hdi_tower/summarize_tower) and a bimodality caveat — a bimodality 0 means "no clear bimodality detected," not "proven unimodal" (conservative-by-design; register C-34/C-42).
  • Corrected the tower._pin docstring (midpoint masses pin down to the lower floor via argmin's lowest-index rule) and the research/map_hdi/audit.py stale tuple-unpack (register C-41).

Governance

  • Register: C-43 logged (Tier 4, deferred) — per-row binning duplicated between bimodality and the frozen map_estimate; intentionally not unified while map_estimate is frozen and C-24-ulp-sensitive.
