Drive Check for Android 1.0.0: is your region of Ukraine under an air raid alert? One glance.

What works

• The current region's alert status, with the time it was checked, and Refresh.
• The region follows your location while the app is open (Kyiv when location is off and there is no
  last region).
• Alerts in neighbouring regions, and a yellow "Stay Alert" when they surround a quiet region.
• The provider's alert map as a reference image; tap it for every region's status.
• A home-screen widget with Refresh. It marks the time with ⚠ after 3 minutes and asks you to open
  the app after 10.
• A quick-settings tile.
• A lock-screen notification while your region is under alert, from the moment the app or the
  widget sees it until the all-clear is seen. Turn it off in Details.
• An Android Auto screen: the status, the region with its update time, nearby alerts and Refresh
  (see Important).
• English, Ukrainian and Russian.

Important

• Alert data is informational only. It is not a push alert service: nothing polls in the
  background, and the widget updates about every 30 minutes, or when you tap Refresh. Follow
  official instructions and local authorities.
• Android Auto needs the Google Play install. The car screen (status, region with its time,
  nearby alerts, Refresh) is in this APK, but Android Auto's "Allow unknown sources" option does not
  apply to apps built with the Android for Cars App Library, so a sideloaded APK shows no car
  screen in a real car. It appears once the app is installed from Google Play
  (spec 004).
• Checked by automated tests, not yet on a real phone by the developer: please report problems in
  issues.

Install (sideloading)

1. Download DriveCheck-1.0.0.apk below on the Android phone (Android 8.0 or later).
2. Open it. Android asks once to allow installs from the browser or the file manager you used;
   allow it, then install.
3. If a later Google Play build will not install over it, uninstall this APK first.
