bagger 1.0.0 — first stable release

Scoop-compatible package management in Rust, verified install-by-install against upstream behavior, with ~50x faster startup (see benchmarks in the README).

Install (Windows)

Or cargo install bagger, or download the zip for your architecture below and put bagger.exe on PATH.

Migrating from Scoop

scoop export > scoopfile.json
bagger import scoopfile.json

Missing buckets are added automatically and holds are restored.

Notes

  • bagger update <app> forwards to upgrade; upgrade --force reinstalls current versions.
  • app@version pins, nightly builds (update_nightly), full hook scope, native MSI/Inno extraction.
  • aarch64 artifact follows via CI; x64/i686 attached below (verify with the .sha256 files).
