Sober don't work

Acknowledgement of checking existent issues

• I have checked if my issue has already been reported, and I am certain that my problem has not already been addressed.
• I have attached full logs, screenshots, and other relevant info, and understand that if I haven't, my issue will be closed and ignored.
• I agree that I just mindlessly checked every box without actually reading anything.

What problem did you encounter?

Sober 1.7.1 closes immediately after launch on my system without creating any logs in ~/.var/app/org.vinegarhq.Sober.

The only output is:

The application exits immediately afterwards.

I have already tried switching from Wayland to X11, verified that hardware acceleration is working correctly (OpenGL renderer: Mesa Intel HD Graphics 400 (BSW), not llvmpipe), updated Flatpak and Sober, ran the application with flatpak run --verbose org.vinegarhq.Sober, checked journalctl --user, and confirmed that Vulkan is working. None of these changed the behavior.

glxinfo reports:

OpenGL vendor string: Intel
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa Intel(R) HD Graphics 400 (BSW)
OpenGL version string: 4.6 (Compatibility Profile) Mesa 26.0.3-1ubuntu1

vulkaninfo --summary detects the Intel GPU correctly and Vulkan appears to work.

journalctl --user shows that the Sober process starts, runs for approximately 10 seconds, uses around 100–140 MB of RAM, and exits without any crash message or useful log.

I'm new to Linux and this is my first time installing Sober, i know my laptop is very low end, but i don't think this is the reason, because i have dual boot with Windows 10 which Roblox works fine (except for the lag), and i'm not the only one with this issue, i'm looking forward for future updates.

I have been getting this exact error, and the only thing i can suggest is reinstalling linux. I have yet to try it, it's kind of a last resort for me

Bad advice. Clearly there's something wrong with the software if there's been multiple reports of this issue since the last update.

I'm having the same error messages and the same silent failure. CachyOS, RTX 2070 Super/PCIe/SSE2, KDE Plasma, fails in both Wayland and X11, Vulkan 1.4.350, profile 4.6.0 NVIDIA 610.43.02. Sober used to work great on this machine until June 22 - the commit that day killed it.
EDIT: Reverting back to the previous commit runs, but only pops the "You have to update Sober" error, so I can't actually get in to the game.
