00: Installation and Main Menu
The supported way to install the GTFS2 integration is via Home Assistant Community Store (HACS). You need to have HACS working first, then use it to install the GTFS2 integration.
Note
Installing GTFS2 does not add it as an integration or configure it. Those are steps taken after installing GTFS2 with HACS.
Note
This is the preferred and easiest option.
Log into your Home Assistant web interface, and click on the HACS option in the left menu. In the HACS search bar enter "GTFS2". You should see "GTFS2 for HomeAssistant" listed. Click Download and follow the instructions. You will need to restart Home Assistant.
If you can't find the GTFS2 integration, You can add this github repository to HACS using the "Custom repositories" feature. Click the three-vertical-dots in the upper right of HACS and choose Custom repositories. Paste https://github.com/vingerha/gtfs2 into the Repository field, Set Type to Integration, and click Add. Then you can find the GTFS Integration in your HACS, so continue with option 1.
In the HA menu click: Settings > Devices & Services > Integrations
Search for GTFS:

When you click on GTFS, you will be prompted with the Main Menu:

When you first set up this HA integration, you begin by adding a data source. It's the Setup a new data source choice in the Main Menu.
