I'm definitely not the best person to compare pandas to petl but petl has support for pandas so I expect the petl authors knew what pandas could do before writing petl. I suspect there may be some overlap but they solve different problems and can be used together. http://petl.readthedocs.org/en/latest/io.html?highlight=pandas#dataframes-pandas |
