Introduction

Greasemonkey is a very popular addon on Firefox and has lot of amazing scripts running through it. Opera has supported GM scripts for several versions but there are still some limits. Violentmonkey is designed for using Greasemonkey scripts on Opera.

Features

1. Install scripts from http://userscripts.org and http://j.mozest.com.
2. Update automatically according to the meta data.
3. Run scripts in order as shown in the list.
4. GM functions are supported.
5. Local .user.js files can be installed by dragging into Opera.
6. Support import from and export to a zip file.

Multiple language

If you'd like to help with a new translation, please download locales/en/messages.json and translate it into your own language. Then you may either send the new translation to me or make a pull request. Thanks in advance.

Downloads

Since Opera has a lot of new features in version 12, some features can not be accomplished in earlier version. So the latest version will only support Opera 12+, and if you are using older versions, you can find the proper download below.

• Official Release
• Violentmonkey for Opera 12 (recommended): This is the latest version of Violentmonkey.
• Violentmonkey for Opera 11.64: This is the final version for Opera 11.64, to which no new features will be added any more.
