This is a beta release of Violentmonkey (also in WebStore), use it at your own risk.
If you already use Violentmonkey, click Export to zip in settings before installing the beta.

Notable changes since v2.41.1:

  • MV3 version for Chrome, might still have bugs, requires Chrome/ium 135+, not yet published to CWS
  • MV2 version requires at least Chrome 86, Firefox 68 used in some still maintained browser forks
  • Improved sync UI and engine + sync of enabled status (#2548)

Until it's published in CWS you can reanimate your currently installed Violentmonkey in new Chromium-based browser...

by copying the "key" line from manifest.json of the old extension in your profile or use the one below of the official CWS jinjaccalgkegednnccohejagnlnfdag.

  1. edit manifest.json of the unpacked extension in an editor

  2. click right after { at the beginning of the file and paste the following text (don't forget the comma at the end):
