now playing notch is too wide

With now playing on, the notch goes ultra-wide (ignoring width settings) covering up menu items for the open app. Also only puts the now playing info just on the left side in a scroll.

Real fix this time, in v1.0.152 — out now.

You were right to keep pushing: the earlier attempts narrowed it but never addressed the cause. With only music playing, the bar draws two things — the album artwork on one side of the camera, the equaliser on the other. It was being measured from the full now-playing chip (artwork + title + source app), and both sides were grown to that measurement. That's how a ~370pt black bar ended up holding two objects about 30pt wide, with the text crammed into what was left, and it is also why turning the track label off barely helped.

It is now measured from what it actually draws, the way the in-call bar already was. The music-only pill should be dramatically narrower, and it should stop parking over your app's menu items.

Same fix covers #18. If it is still wider than the content warrants after updating, a screenshot would be welcome — but this one I could measure rather than guess at.

Notchy 1.0.191 retains the corrected music-only sizing described above, with further menu-bar and panel reliability work. If the Now Playing island still covers app menus after updating, please share the exact track title/artist and whether Always Show Track Info or Lyrics on Pill is enabled. A current screenshot would help distinguish a layout bug from the selected presentation options.
