Arte Ogre 1.8.0 — Type tool fixed and fully usable

  • Type tool typing works. With an active text entry session, bare tool keys (B, V, T, …) no longer steal keystrokes; Space inserts a space instead of temporary Hand.
  • Style controls. Font family (system picker + custom name), size (slider + presets), bold, italic, color, align, line height, and wrap width are editable in the Type sidebar.
  • Persisted styles. Family/size/bold/italic land on the stored text block, survive re-edit, and drive cosmic-text shaping/rasterization.
  • Canvas typing + live preview. Type after placing the anchor without hunting the sidebar; live on-canvas preview with caret and wrap-width guide.
