How can I use saved items from the library?

I've saved a projection in the library for testing purposes. I see that this projection is found:

I can browse it by clicking on the badge "1 found":

If I select it nothing happens. The "Projection 1" is not overridden and no second projection is being added. I wounder if that's a bug or I am too stupid to understand the logic.

It's definitely a bug. You're just the first person who noticed and reported it.

I quick checked and it seems we have some good news: saving/loading the whole Consumer Sessions works.
The Filters also Filter Chains loaded correctly, so something messed up with Projections.

I'll fix it as soon as will have time.
For now I suggest you to save/load complete Consumer Sessions.

BTW, If you have suggestions on improving UX without sacrificing functionality, feel free to submit a discussion.

Thank you for the quick answer. Funny that I found this bug while blindly trying a function :)

I'll try the workaround later (Consumer Sessions).

And yes I have a suggestion regarding the UI: The option to load saved items should not be located in/at a newly created item. Instead the option should be on the parent object.
So in case of projections: If I want to load a saved projection from the library I expect to find a "browse library" or "load" button under projections (marked green) but under a new projection that I need to create first (marked orange).
With the current behaviour I don't know what is the effect:

• Will the projection where I clicked "1 loaded" be overridden
• Will the projection where i clicked survive and a second projection as copy of the saved one is being added?

The projection where you clicked "1 found" then loaded a saved item from the library, will override it in your current Consumer Session.
You can check how it works on Filters and Filter Chains.

The easy way to think about it - when you add a new Filter or Projection, you add a default item to a new slot. Then you can load the preset from your library to this slot.

It's the matter of the Consumer Session components granularity for storing them in the library.
Probably it would be less confusing and good enough to let users to store only Consumer Sessions as the whole, but I decided to go more modular approach.

It would be more clear which direction to go if someday we'd get more feedback on the library feature by other users.

The modular approach is really good in my opinion. I just wanna say I would still prefer to have the option loading items from the library at the parent level so in case of projections here:

I think this is more intuitive and it takes just one click to open the library and not two (1. adding a new projection, 2. click on "n found").
