What's Changed

Bug Fix: Cost Optimizer now correctly detects Ollama installation.

The Problem

The Cost Optimizer panel showed "Ollama not installed" even when Ollama was installed and running. shutil.which('ollama') depends on the Python process's PATH, which often doesn't include /opt/homebrew/bin (macOS Homebrew) or other non-standard locations.

The Fix

New _detect_ollama() function with 3-layer detection:

  1. shutil.which() (standard PATH lookup)
  2. Common install paths (/opt/homebrew/bin, /usr/local/bin, /usr/bin, Windows AppData)
  3. HTTP ping to localhost:11434 (catches running instances regardless of PATH)

Sync Daemon

Heartbeat now includes ollama: {installed, running, models} so the cloud dashboard can use node-reported data instead of server-side detection.
