@vkalipat vkalipat released this 28 Sep 20:54

the quota list now sticks to your main subscription limits.

  • claude code shows its 5-hour and weekly limits.
  • codex shows weekly, plus a 5-hour limit when your account provides one.
  • separate reserve and model pools no longer appear in the dashboard or menu bar.
  • upgrading clears the old quota cache.

grab the zip, unzip it, then run import extension in raycast and select the session limits folder.

validated with parser regressions, the production build, typescript, formatting, and raycast store checks.

@vkalipat vkalipat released this 28 Sep 18:42

Connection fixes for Session Limits.

  • Check Claude settings again immediately before saving and preserve concurrent edits detected during setup.
  • Recover abandoned connection locks after interrupted setup.
  • Refresh quotas after connecting or disconnecting, even when another refresh is running.
  • Use Raycast-generated preference types and the current ESLint configuration helper.

Download session-limits.zip, unzip it, then run Import Extension in Raycast and select the Session Limits folder. Existing users can import the new folder to update.

Validated with the production build, TypeScript, ESLint, formatting, Raycast Store lint, and regression checks for settings conflicts, lock recovery, and refresh races.

v1.2.0 — Visual limits, seamless local connections

Choose a tag to compare

@vkalipat vkalipat released this 28 Sep 18:23

Session Limits now shows each quota as a visual speedometer, with remaining capacity and exact reset times.

Install

  1. Download session-limits.zip below and unzip it.
  2. Open Import Extension in Raycast and select the Session Limits folder.
  3. Run Show Session Limits. No terminal or npm needed.

Changes

  • Per-limit gauges with theme-aware colors, a needle, and clear stale readings.
  • Claude Code connects with one action through its official status-line interface. No tokens or Keychain access. Requires Claude Code 2.1.251+ with Pro or Max; readings update while Claude Code is active.
  • Existing Claude status lines are preserved; Disconnect restores the previous setting.
  • Codex uses its official CLI/app-server exclusively.
  • Better documentation, native previews using sample values, and contribution templates.

Upgrading from 1.1.x: Choose Connect Claude Code once to enable the new local quota connection. Raycast author metadata now uses the verified publishing account; if importing leaves a duplicate older extension, remove the old vkalipat entry in Raycast settings.

Validated with TypeScript, ESLint, Prettier, Raycast Store lint, production build/import, live Codex quotas, and synthetic Claude bridge/gauge checks. Claude bridge checks use temporary profiles; live Claude quota collection has not been verified in this release.

v1.1.1 — refreshed icon and README

Choose a tag to compare

@vkalipat vkalipat released this 28 Sep 17:54

New coral quota-bar icon and a shorter README with installation and account connection first.

Download session-limits.zip, unzip it, and choose the Session Limits folder in Raycast’s Import Extension command. Then open Show Session Limits. Reimport the folder to update an existing installation.

Validation: TypeScript, ESLint, formatting, production build, ZIP contents, and icon checks at full and 32-pixel sizes. Provider behavior is unchanged.

v1.1.0 — simpler setup

Choose a tag to compare

@vkalipat vkalipat released this 28 Sep 17:27

Download session-limits.zip, unzip it, then choose the Session Limits folder in Raycast’s Import Extension command. Open Show Session Limits.

No terminal, npm, Node.js installation, or user-written scripts. The ZIP is prebuilt and was imported and run in Raycast 2.5.3.

  • Codex automatically reuses its installed CLI sign-in.
  • Claude Code has a single Connect action using native macOS access, with its access token held in Raycast encrypted storage. macOS may ask for approval.
  • Automatic Claude refresh never reads the system Keychain. Reconnect after its access token expires.
  • No AppleScript or JavaScript automation bridge.
  • Setup, connection expiry, and disconnection are represented directly in the UI.

Validation: production build, formatting, lint, TypeScript, 31 provider assertions, 10 concurrency checks, live Codex quota read, native ZIP import, and successful live Claude connection.

This ZIP replaces the previous .rayext artifact, which is unsupported in normal Raycast builds. See the README for installation and compatibility.

v1.0.0

Choose a tag to compare

@vkalipat vkalipat released this 28 Sep 17:10

Superseded: install v1.1.0 or later using the prebuilt ZIP. The .rayext asset from this release is not supported by normal Raycast builds.

A lightweight native Raycast dashboard for Codex, Claude Code, and custom provider quotas.

  • Remaining percentages, reset times, and observation ages.
  • Optional menu bar with five-minute background refresh.
  • Existing CLI sign-ins, local snapshot cache, no telemetry.
  • Provider-neutral JSON interface for additional integrations.

Install from source using the README. A prebuilt .rayext archive is included for compatible Raycast clients; the documented source installation is the supported path. This release is distributed on GitHub, not the Raycast Store.

Validation: TypeScript, ESLint, formatting, production build, GitHub Actions, 46 synthetic assertions, and live native dashboard checks. Keychain permissions are managed locally by macOS.
