Gutta 0.0.5 adds portable folder sync and a faster task-entry default.

Highlights:

  • Replaces CloudKit with user-selected folder sync through iCloud Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or any normal Finder folder.
  • Keeps task additions, edits, completions, reminder changes, and deletions in sync between Macs.
  • Defaults tasks without scheduling details to Today, while keeping date-only tasks untimed.
  • Restores the signed Sparkle update metadata in the release bundle.
  • Advances the app to version 0.0.5 (build 5).

Sync setup:
Click the iCloud button, choose Choose Sync Folder, and select the same folder once on each Mac. Existing local tasks remain on the device; Gutta exchanges task records through the selected folder while it is running.

Installation:
Download the DMG, open it, and drag Gutta to Applications. This preview is ad-hoc signed and is not notarized, so macOS may require Control-clicking Gutta and choosing Open on first launch.

Existing Gutta 0.0.4 users can also install this version through the built-in Sparkle updater.
