• init new ignores saved provider config -- now respects run.yaml via the canonical precedence (INITRUNNER_MODEL > run.yaml > env auto-detect > fallback). Previously picked Anthropic if ANTHROPIC_API_KEY existed, even with a stale key
• Custom endpoints broken in CLI builder -- base_url and api_key_env from run.yaml are now threaded through the builder and injected into generated YAML, fixing OpenRouter and other custom-endpoint setups
• 401 errors show raw tracebacks -- authentication failures now print actionable guidance (initrunner setup or --provider) instead of a PydanticAI stack trace
• Missing SDK shows pip instructions -- provider SDK check now runs early in init new with uv-friendly install message
• Builder emits empty optional sections -- memory: {}, ingest: {}, etc. when asked to add features. Schema reference now includes field-level details for all optional sections (memory, ingest, reasoning, autonomy, security, observability)
• Builder confuses RAG with memory -- prompt now distinguishes RAG (ingest with sources) from memory (cross-session agent state) and guides the LLM accordingly
• Broad exception catch skips refinement -- narrowed seed-phase error handler to ModelHTTPError only, fixing a regression where any exception silently exited before the refinement loop
• Budget daily reset test timezone bug -- test used date.today() (local time) but tracker uses UTC; fails when local date is ahead of UTC
