Plawie v2.3.0 — Analytics & Stability Preview 6

Preview 6 advances Android to versionCode 16 and combines the current native Gateway branch with consented launch measurement and the latest identity/voice reliability corrections.

Analytics and product readiness

  • Adds an explicit, unselected onboarding choice for anonymous product analytics; skipping remains off and no Plawie account is required.
  • Measures consented visible foreground/PiP sessions and bounded five-minute active-use heartbeats without counting passive wake-word, foreground-service, or Gateway uptime.
  • Keeps prompts, responses, transcripts, recordings, wallet data, credentials, addresses, URLs, location, raw errors, and arbitrary payloads out of PostHog.
  • Uses stable event insertion IDs so at-least-once queue delivery does not inflate metrics.
  • Provisions four staging dashboards with 22 validated acquisition, activation, voice/Gateway, and retention insights.

Stability since Preview 5

  • Repairs split Gateway device identities across native authentication paths.
  • Prevents streamed assistant replies from being appended repeatedly.
  • Prevents overlapping or replayed voice output for the same assistant response.
  • Preserves the full native Node Gateway, wallet/bridge, provider catalog, PRoot rollback, PiP, wake-word, and continuous-voice work from Preview 5.

Verification

  • All 915 Flutter tests passed.
  • flutter analyze --no-pub completed with no issues.
  • Landing build, JSON-LD CSP validation, and both analytics consent suites passed.
  • All 22 managed PostHog queries executed successfully; live Android events retained only bounded properties.
  • Packaged credential audit and APK signature verification passed.
  • Physical Samsung upgrade preserved app data and installed as 2.3.0 (16).
  • No real wallet transaction was approved or executed during release smoke testing.

Upgrade

  1. Download the APK and attached checksum receipt.
  2. Verify the APK SHA-256 before installation.
  3. Install over the existing Plawie preview to preserve setup, wallet state, dependency receipts, and chats.
  4. Do not uninstall or clear app data during an upgrade.

Analytics remains optional and can be disabled from Settings. This preview uses the staging measurement channel; production analytics and Play signing remain gated separately.
