v0.7.0 — TTL Auto-Destroy, Clean Slate, Doctor, mcp-config
What's New in v0.7.0
VM TTL Auto-Destroy
Assign a time-to-live to any VM — the scheduler daemon auto-deletes it when expired. Prevents resource leaks in lab environments.
vmware-aiops vm set-ttl my-lab-vm --minutes 120 # auto-delete in 2 hours
vmware-aiops vm list-ttl # check all pending TTLs
vmware-aiops vm cancel-ttl my-lab-vm # cancel if no longer neededMCP tools: vm_set_ttl, vm_cancel_ttl, vm_list_ttl
Clean Slate
Reset a VM to its baseline snapshot in one command. Powers off first if needed — ideal for repeatable lab/dev workflows.
vmware-aiops vm clean-slate my-vm --snapshot baselineMCP tool: vm_clean_slate
Doctor Command
8-check environment diagnostic — config, .env permissions, targets, network, vSphere auth, daemon, TTL store, MCP server.
vmware-aiops doctor # full check
vmware-aiops doctor --skip-auth # skip auth (faster)MCP Config Generator
Generate ready-to-use MCP config for any local AI agent in one command.
vmware-aiops mcp-config generate --agent goose
vmware-aiops mcp-config generate --agent claude-code
vmware-aiops mcp-config list # see all 7 supported agentsInventory Filtering
Keep LLM context compact for large inventories.
vmware-aiops inventory vms --limit 10 --sort-by memory_mb
vmware-aiops inventory vms --power-state poweredOnMCP: list_virtual_machines(limit=10, sort_by="memory_mb", fields=["name","memory_mb"])
