NFI Backtest Engine v1.4.0-rc.1
Pre-release
Pre-release
NFI Backtest Engine v1.4.0
v1.4.0 closes the latest-NFI Native exact gap and makes continuous compatibility
qualification operational on both Spot and Futures.
Highlights
- Proves the latest Signal 65 callback/tag transition with previous/latest official
Freqtrade and latest Native executions. - Requires changed-source coverage, trade-surface equality, and full-state equality
before a strategy revision reachesquick_verified. - Compiles supported callback, tag, route, threshold, Grind, and trade-state behavior
into generic source-derived state-machine IR without version-specific runtime
patches. - Runs four-hour Spot/Futures qualification with digest-bound compact fixtures,
append-only evidence, deduplicated issues, and a visible official fallback. - Skips expensive deep discovery only when both modes are already exact; missing or
incomplete qualification remains fail-closed and enters the bounded discovery lane. - Uses portable container ownership discovery and bounded diagnostics without fixed
image usernames or UIDs.
Certification boundary
This is a product release, not a new combined Full X7 certification. The five-year
Spot certificate remains bound to v1.0.0 and the five-year Futures certificate
remains bound to v1.1.0. v1.4.0 wheels are built once, exercised with exact Spot and
Futures fixtures on Linux, Windows, and macOS, checksum-sealed, and promoted from RC
to stable without rebuilding.
Upgrade
Run the normal installer again. It selects the v1.4.0 wheel for the current supported
platform, verifies the published SHA-256 digest, and replaces the isolated nfi-bte
tool installation.
