CE-Deploy 16.3.7

16.3.7 improves bulk workspace updates and activation-code generation, enables optional acquisition telemetry in stable builds, and fixes release packaging and upload reliability.

Workspace CSV updates and activation codes

  • Repaired CSV submission across Shared, Personal, and Device Codes, including selection of the correct CSV or cloud workspace source.
  • Added Review Workspaces before updates or code generation. Workspace operations now use their selected records directly, without the unrelated device-target, device pre-flight, or device-scheduler steps.
  • Each submission reads the current file from disk, so edits made after selecting a CSV are included. Changing organizations during review cancels the submission.
  • Validates the complete CSV before making changes, with row-specific errors for missing or invalid values and duplicate targets. Blank rows no longer truncate the remaining records.
  • Corrected Hybrid Calling Email and Hotdesking column handling and API fields. Export/import preserves phone-number and extension formatting and accepts CE-Deploy's trailing license metadata.
  • Shared workspace updates are read back and checked against the submitted values. Results distinguish verified updates, failures, and items requiring review; Personal updates clearly report API acceptance.
  • Activation-code results now distinguish generated, failed, and not-attempted records. Progress, summaries, notifications, and history more accurately reflect partial results and failures.

Privacy and acquisition telemetry

  • Enabled the acquisition telemetry foundation introduced in 16.3.6 for supported stable macOS and Windows builds, after the disclosure has been acknowledged and while sharing is enabled.
  • Reports a pseudonymous installation identity, application version/channel, platform, and aggregate endpoint counts. Endpoint observations reuse existing discovery workflows rather than making telemetry-only Webex requests.
  • Settings → Privacy retains controls to disable acquisition telemetry, reset its installation identity, or request deletion of its collected record. These controls apply to acquisition telemetry separately from existing feature analytics.

Build and release reliability

  • Fixed concurrent artifact uploads within a build creating duplicate GitHub draft releases and splitting installers from their update files.
  • Added a publisher regression check before Mac and Windows release uploads, and automatically reapplies the required dependency patch before that check.
  • Ensured isolated verifier dependencies are installed before production packaging and improved Windows file-replacement retry handling.

Downloads

  • macOS: Universal DMG and ZIP for Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
  • Windows: x64 installer and portable executable.

These notes cover changes merged into master through f45b23d1. Private-beta Automation and Pro membership groundwork are not announced as generally available features in this stable release.
