What's Changed

Faraday 2.x Compatibility

  • Upgraded faraday dependency from ~> 1.0 to >= 2.0, < 3.0
  • Removed faraday_middleware gem dependency (no longer needed with Faraday 2.x, which ships with built-in middleware for JSON encoding/parsing)
  • Removed require 'faraday_middleware' from lib/rcrm/connection.rb

Why

This release unblocks downstream consumers (e.g. Xenolith) that need to upgrade to Faraday 2.x for security and compatibility reasons. The faraday ~> 1.0 constraint in the previous version prevented Bundler from resolving Faraday 2.x in dependent projects.
