We previously talked about this in #11, and manually adding a $ to the input parameters does solve the problem with numbering ignoring the clicking order, however changing the option in the settings from "cursor" to "sorted" (which I think you said should do the same thing (I took it as meaning it should essentially set $ behavior for you) does not seem to work. No matter whether it's set to "cursor" or "sorted", it behaves like "cursor". I haven't gone through the code to see what could be causing this behavior yet, but I wanted to file an issue to get it documented.
