• The first match appears before background counting; next/previous navigation reuses the count. Matches retain about two text lines above them for context where possible.
• Fixes the search field's right edge and prevents the Windows beep when pressing Enter or Shift+Enter to navigate results.
• Prevents zoom-related scrollbar flicker, removes horizontal scrolling caused by empty centering margins, and uses the arrow cursor over scrollbar tracks.
• Production executables exclude test options, verification routines, failure injection, and diagnostic timing code. These remain in a separate development test executable.
• Retains the current website links and delayed default-reader correction from earlier releases.

Choose from the release's Assets:

Open a file with Ctrl+O, drag it into the window, or run:

F11 switches window modes. Escape closes directly when launched with a file path, after dismissing search/Help/About. Without a file argument, it leaves fullscreen or closes a normal window. The fullscreen X closes directly. F1 opens Help.

Setup's unchecked Choose as default Markdown reader option opens Windows Default apps for your selection. Registration is also available in the app's three-dot menu.

Editing, printing, syntax highlighting, arbitrary HTML/CSS layouts, animated images, Mermaid, and mathematical typesetting are not included. Very large documents require memory proportional to their content and structure.
