Major changes in this fork

  • Expanded the scraper from GBA packs to multiple systems. Scan an SD card to find supported games and build artwork for the games present on it.
  • Added Custom Pack output that can mirror ROM folder paths under IMGS and IMGS2, alongside flat CUSTOM output for named artwork and extension defaults.
  • Added per-system Custom Pack builds, so you can build artwork for all found games or select one system.
  • Added artwork lookup across Libretro, TheGamesDB, ScreenScraper, and IGDB, with system-aware matching and fallback to the next configured source when artwork is missing or unusable.
  • Added recursive, console-aware matching for local artwork packs, plus an option to prioritize local artwork. Matching avoids using artwork from a different console when game titles overlap. Local source images are used directly to build thumbnails without copying them into the scraper cache or modifying the originals.
  • Made SD scans incremental: reuse existing valid thumbnails and cached source images, and retry or skip failed downloads. Cached images can also be reused on later scans.
  • Added provider totals to SD scan reports, with matched filenames listed when fewer than five files matched a provider.
  • Added optional ROM matching by CRC32, MD5, and SHA-1 after title-based lookup fails, and improved filename cleanup for online searches while preserving region names.
  • Improved artwork selection to favor standard retail releases and exact ROM matches, and improved fitting portrait or landscape cover art while preserving intended transparency and black details.
  • Added live progress for long scans and artwork builds, with background work to keep the application responsive.
  • Improved standalone GBA utilities to find .GBA files consistently across operating systems, validate dimensions and limits, and continue past unreadable ROMs. Malformed settings, scan-report metadata, and provider cache files are handled safely.
  • Updated compatibility and guidance through DS Style v7.4.
