🌊 BeatWave v6.0.0 — Liquid Sync & Instant Audio

We are thrilled to bring you BeatWave v6.0.0, one of our biggest updates yet! This release introduces real-time synced listening with friends, an overhauled instant playback & parallel lyrics engine, a redesigned Liquid Glass Home screen, and smart Spotify-powered discovery.

⚡ Instant Playback & Lightning-Fast Lyrics

  • Ultra-Fast Parallel Lyrics (Suggested by Daniel): Parallel provider requests ensure instant lyrics retrieval without waiting on slow providers, backed by background pre-caching and an expanded 100-song cache.
  • 0ms Song Skip & Next-Track Prefetching: The player now pre-resolves upcoming tracks in the background, making skips, next songs, and playlist auto-advances instant with zero delay.
  • Cold-Start Latency Fix: Non-blocking audio resolution for instant startup playback.

👥 BeatWave Sync (Listen Together)

  • Live Synchronized Playback: Listen to music simultaneously with friends anywhere in the world.
  • Invite Links & QR Codes: Generate shareable room links and QR codes for seamless one-tap joining.
  • In-Room Live Chat: Real-time messaging and track sharing directly inside your listening session.

🎨 Revamped Liquid Glass Home Screen

  • Dynamic Time-of-Day Greetings: Context-aware header ("Good morning", "Good evening", "Late night vibes").
  • Translucent Frosted Glass UI: Premium liquid glass cards with dynamic gradient lighting and responsive touch animations.
  • 100% Playable Discovery: Every card on Daily Discover & Quick Picks is guaranteed 1-tap playable.

🎵 Algorithmic Recommendations & Audio Presets

  • Spotify Discovery Engine (Suggested by Sandeep): Smart algorithmic recommendations tailored to your active queue and listening history.
  • SoundCloud-Style Music Presets (Suggested by Zaid): Tailored equalizer presets (Deep Bass, Studio Crisp, Electronic, Acoustic).
  • Login-Free Spotify Importer: Paste Spotify song and playlist links to play or import directly.

🎛️ Custom Themes & Polish

  • Color Theme Presets: Midnight OLED, Cyberpunk Neon, Emerald Forest, Rose Gold, Sunset Glow, and Liquid Glass.
  • Google Cast: One-tap Chromecast streaming directly from the player.
  • Library Playlist Covers: Rich dynamic cover art for all playlists in your library.
  • Welcome / What's New Dialog: Automatic feature tour on fresh installs and updates.

🛠️ Bug Fixes & Stability

  • Fixed white-on-white font contrast in search results with adaptive luminance.
  • Fixed Spotify login webview freezes with full-screen OAuth dialog.
  • Fixed missing Compose imports and Room database queries.
