agent-cli-discord is a standalone, JSON-speaking CLI that lets coding agents participate in explicitly authorized Discord guild channels through a Discord Application bot identity. It uses Discord REST API v10 only; no Gateway connection, no daemon.

Platform

Linux amd64 only for this release, as a statically linked executable (CGO_ENABLED=0). Other platforms build from source with the command in the README.

Build provenance

  • Build: CGO_ENABLED=0 GOOS=linux GOARCH=amd64 go build -trimpath ./cmd/agent-cli-discord from a clean checkout of tag v1.0.0 with Go 1.27.1. The build is reproducible; rebuilding the tag yields the same checksum.

Testing

Local unit and HTTP-fixture tests, race detector, and go vet pass on the release commit. The published file was live-tested against a dedicated Discord guild per docs/live-testing.md (run live-20260906T140531Z, verdict PASS, every command exercised including denied-channel and thread-allowlist cases).
