Added

  • The /settings entry now exports assessTweakCompatibility, providing effective setting values, directional adoption changes, and reconstruction requirements for host recovery interfaces.

Changed

  • Central replication treats an absent handleFilenameCaseSensitive value as false. Explicit false versus missing remains compatible; explicit true versus missing now rejects replication and requires resolution.

Fixed

  • CouchDB and Object Storage recovery hints now retain the exact compatibility assessment from the failed attempt, allowing hosts to use the same decision when presenting recovery choices (Self-hosted LiveSync issue #1180).
  • Directional replication retries now use the settings saved during recovery while retaining the check against the original active Replicator context.
