Breaking changes

v0.7.0 removed tags and named entries. It also changed how pins are stored.

On the plus side, removing these features simplified the code and removed the sqlite dependency.

Install

Homebrew compiles TJ locally from this tagged source release:

brew install vrypan/tap/tj

Alternatively, download the archive for your platform and install it under ~/.local:

mkdir -p ~/.local
tar -xzf "$archive" -C ~/.local --strip-components=1

Ensure ~/.local/bin is on PATH. For zsh recording and reference expansion, add this to ~/.zshrc:

source ~/.local/share/tj/tj.plugin.zsh

For Fish recording, add this to ~/.config/fish/config.fish:

source ~/.local/share/tj/tj.plugin.fish
