Release list
prx v0.1.1
prx v0.1.1
PRX.app now works on first open. A fresh install no longer needs prx init: when there is no config file, the app writes the default ~/.config/prx/config.yml itself, starts its daemon, and the Dashboard offers Add a repo. An existing config is never overwritten or changed. (On v0.1.0 a new install showed Daemon stopped until prx init was run.)
Install PRX.app (macOS 12+, Apple silicon)
1. Get PRX.app
- Option 1, from this page: download
PRX-v0.1.1-macos-arm64.zipbelow, double-click it, and drag PRX into Applications. - Option 2, command line:
cd ~/Downloads gh release download v0.1.1 --repo vs4vijay/prx --pattern 'PRX-*-macos-arm64.zip' ditto -x -k PRX-*-macos-arm64.zip /Applications
2. Allow it to open (both options, once, before the first open)
Important
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/PRX.appPRX.app is not yet notarized by Apple, so macOS blocks a downloaded copy. The app is not damaged. Without a terminal: try to open it once, then System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
3. Open it: double-click PRX, or open /Applications/PRX.app. No other setup.
Updating from v0.1.0: quit PRX, delete the old PRX.app, then do the three steps. Your config and history are kept.
CLI only (macOS and Linux)
Download prx-v0.1.1-<target>.tar.gz for your machine (below, or gh release download v0.1.1 --repo vs4vijay/prx --pattern "prx-*-<target>.tar.gz"), unpack it, on macOS run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine prx-v*/, copy prx to a directory on your PATH, and run prx init. The Linux binaries need glibc 2.39 or later (Ubuntu 24.04, Debian 13). Details: Install.
Also
prx initis unchanged for terminal users; it and the app now share one definition of the default config.- Checksums:
shasum -a 256 -c SHA256SUMS --ignore-missing(Linux:sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS --ignore-missing).

prx v0.1.0
prx is a local-first manager for the pull request review lifecycle: it polls watched GitHub repositories through the gh CLI, has a local coding agent or an LLM API review each open PR read-only, and posts the review to GitHub — AI informs, the human decides. It records history, sends desktop notifications, and exposes a localhost API for its macOS menu bar client.
Included in this release

Install
See the README and
docs/getting-started/install.md.
Each tarball unpacks to a directory of the same name holding prx, README.md, and LICENSE;
move the binary anywhere on your PATH. Unzip PRX.app into /Applications or ~/Applications.
macOS: PRX.app is ad-hoc signed and not notarized. After unzipping, clear the
quarantine flag before the first launch: xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine PRX.app.
Verify downloads with shasum -a 256 -c SHA256SUMS (Linux: sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS).
