App name: Vocabulary Practice

Summary Vocabulary Practice is a kids vocabulary learning app that runs entirely on your device. We do not operate servers, APIs, or cloud databases. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information. Nothing you do in the app is sent to us or to any third-party service we control.

Who this policy applies to This policy applies to anyone who downloads and uses Vocabulary Practice on Android or iOS.

Information we collect We do not collect personal information.

The app has:

No user accounts, login, or signup No email collection No analytics or tracking No advertising No backend or remote API No cloud sync We never receive your name, progress, settings, or any other data from the app.

Information stored on your device To work offline and remember progress between sessions, the app saves a small amount of data only on your phone or tablet, using your device’s local storage (shared_preferences). This data never leaves your device unless you choose to share it yourself (for example, through a device backup you control).

Locally stored data may include:

Learner profiles — a display name, optional emoji, and creation date Learning progress — which vocabulary words have been reviewed, quizzed, or spelled per profile and word set App settings — such as text-to-speech speed and read-aloud preferences This is device-local storage, not a remote database. It exists so siblings or classmates can each have their own profile on the same device.

Deleting the app removes this local data. There is no cloud backup provided by us.

Vocabulary content Word lists and definitions are bundled with the app. They are not loaded from the internet during normal use.

Text-to-speech The app uses your device’s built-in text-to-speech (TTS) to read words and definitions aloud. Speech is generated on your device. We do not record audio, and the app does not use a microphone or speech recognition.

Network and internet use The app is designed to work without an internet connection for all learning features.

The only optional network-related behavior is when you choose to tap a sponsor or app-store link. That opens your device’s browser or app store app. We do not send your profile, progress, or settings with that action. Any data collected by Apple, Google, or other sites you visit is governed by their own privacy policies, not ours.

A sponsor video shown in the app is bundled with the app and plays from local files — it is not streamed from the internet.

Children’s privacy Vocabulary Practice is intended for children learning vocabulary, often with a parent or teacher nearby. Because we do not collect personal information and do not transmit data off the device, the app does not require a child to provide identifying information to us.

Local profiles are names you enter on the device (for example, “Alex” or “Mia”). Those names stay on the device and are not sent to us.

If you are a parent or guardian and have questions about how the app handles local data, contact us using the information below.

Third-party services We do not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or cloud storage services into the app.

Your use of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to download or update the app is subject to Apple’s or Google’s respective privacy policies.

Data security Because your data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us, there is no server-side storage for us to secure. You are responsible for physical access to your device, as with any locally stored app data.

Your choices You can:

Delete local profiles within the app (where supported) Reset progress by removing profiles or clearing app data through your device settings Remove all app data by uninstalling the app Changes to this policy We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
