VTube Pro Helper 1.0.0-beta.9 (open beta)

The open beta of the VTube Pro Helper: the small free app that links your computer to the studio at
vtubepro.com/studio.

You don't need it to try VTube Pro. Press Go Live! on vtubepro.com and you're in the
studio. Get the helper when you want OBS, guests, your own files, Blender or AI.

Beta: things may change or break. Your stuff stays on your computer; nothing you make is uploaded to us.

Get it

Your computer What to do
Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit) Download VTubePro-Helper-Setup-1.0.0-beta.9.exe below and open it.
Mac (macOS 11 or newer, Apple silicon or Intel) Follow vtubepro.com/helper → Mac: copy one line into Terminal. No password.
Linux (64-bit, x86_64 or ARM64) Follow vtubepro.com/helper → Linux: copy one line. No sudo.

Then go back to the studio and press Open Helper. Type the 6-character code your helper shows, once.

Windows says "Windows protected your PC"? The helper isn't code-signed yet. Click More info, then Run anyway.

On Safari? Safari can't reach the helper from the website. Use Chrome, Edge or Firefox.

Already have the helper? It updates itself to this one the next time you're not live.

What's new in 1.0.0-beta.9

  • The React screen fits your room again. With Automate OBS, your window capture sits inside the room's
screen and never shows as a crooked or misfit box. If the camera can't see the React screen, the capture is hidden
and Live → Camera says why. Going to React no longer flickers between "connecting…", NO SIGNAL and your
window, and after React your capture goes back to its own place and size, also after a restart.
  • The setup wizard's In-scene (recommended) is saved as In-scene again (it saved Auto).
  • Fast window feed: after a hiccup the picture is back right away, even for a window that changes only now and
then. If OBS can't decode the feed with your graphics card, it decodes it another way within a second. A whole 4K
monitor is sent at 30 frames a second to spare your computer. When a setting stops the feed, or your NVIDIA driver
is too old for your ffmpeg, its status says so.
  • A quicker helper: your avatar and room lists open in a few milliseconds, the helper looks for ffmpeg only when
you use the window feed, and a full disk is reported when you save instead of failing quietly.
  • OBS: the OBS page draws your room with less work, and Avatar detail (for very detailed models) works there
    too.
  • In the web studio (reload the page): lip sync behind a mic, mug or hand; better food and drink detection; a
faster studio; fixes for Brave and Edge. See the changelog.

Also new since 1.0.0-beta.7

  • A VTube Pro icon by the clock (Windows) (1.0.0-beta.8). While the helper runs, click its icon next to the clock: Open the
    studio
, AI connectors and approvals, Start with Windows, Restart VTube Pro and Stop VTube Pro.
Restart and Stop ask first while you're live. Don't see it? Press the small arrow (^) next to the clock.
  • The right Windows setup again (1.0.0-beta.8). The setup for 1.0.0-beta.5 to beta.7 was an older one by mistake: its
shortcuts and the Open Helper button used PowerShell and command windows, which some antivirus apps block.
This setup puts the right ones back, and the update swaps the old shortcuts for the new ones by itself.
  • Mac and Linux (1.0.0-beta.8): when your AI waits for your OK, its approval page now opens by itself here too.

Also new since 1.0.0-beta.6

  • You see when your AI waits for your OK (1.0.0-beta.7): the studio shows "Your AI is waiting for your OK" with
an Open approvals button, and with no studio open the helper opens its approval page by itself.
  • Keep hands out of the body (1.0.0-beta.7), for bulky armour or a big chest: Me → Arms & hands.
  • No more endless loading screen (1.0.0-beta.7): if your browser can't show 3D, the loading screen says what to
try. Linux and Mac setup no longer hang on a stalled download.

Also new since 1.0.0-beta.5

  • ComfyUI "Set it up for me" works again (1.0.0-beta.6): downloads from Hugging Face's new servers, a stopped
setup says why and continues where it left off, and your AI's request opens the right recipe.

Also new since 1.0.0-beta.4

  • Guests arrive dressed: everyone in a party sees your outfit and your accessories (accessories need
1.0.0-beta.5 or newer on both sides).
  • Grok Bot can make rooms (Create → Make a room with your AI). The room checker uses the Python inside
    Blender.
  • LM Studio works with Create, and the AI guides come with the helper.

What's in the open beta

Start in your browser

  • The studio, right in your browser. Press Go Live!, sign in with Google or Discord, and you're in. We only see
your name and picture. No email, no password.
  • Stream-safe names. The studio says "Signed in" instead of your real name. Pick a display name if you like. Hold
    the eye button to peek.
  • Guides in the studio. Every guide from vtubepro.com/docs comes with the studio: press
Guides on the left, or F1 anywhere. Search finds any word, and the guides work offline once the studio has loaded.
  • Bring your stuff over. Used VTube Pro before? One click copies your rooms, avatars and settings into the new
helper. It copies, never moves, and you can undo it.

The helper

  • Windows, Mac and Linux. A normal setup on Windows, one copied line on Mac and Linux.
  • Updates itself. Checks for a new version and updates when you're not live. Never during a stream, a recording
or a party. Only updates signed by VTube Pro are accepted. Older VTube Pro copies that block the helper are closed
for you (it asks first when it can't tell).
  • Set up OBS for me. Eight short steps: find OBS, turn on its remote control, add VTube Pro, make your scenes,
let OBS follow your look, and test it. Every change has an Undo.

On air

  • Live tabs. Show, Cameras, Transitions, Privacy, Guests, Audio, Chat & alerts, Me and OBS. Each tab says what
it's for. Works in the pop-out too.
  • Be Right Back. One press fades your stream to a BRB card (dark or light, your own words). Guests are muted until
    you're back.
  • Hide my screen. Ctrl+B covers your game or shared window with a fun card. You stay on screen. Pick your own
    shortcut in Live → Privacy.
  • Set up my chat & stream. Connect Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Rumble or TikTok, try your alerts, then pick where chat
shows. Read only: VTube Pro never posts and never needs your password.
  • Best lip sync for me. Checks your computer (only after you say yes) and picks Basic, Good or Best.

Make things

  • Create with your AI. Use the app you already have: Claude Desktop, ChatGPT Desktop or Grok Bot (or Claude
Code, Codex, Grok Build, or LM Studio on your own computer). An API key works too. Every AI goes through your
helper; your keys stay on your computer.
  • Make a room with your AI. Describe a room in Create and copy one brief. It tells your AI everything a room
needs (places to sit, cameras, a screen and a door), so the room works the first time.
  • ComfyUI recipes. Ten picture recipes (textures, backgrounds, thumbnails and more) sized for your graphics card.
"Set it up for me" downloads only after you say yes on your own computer.
  • Free DLC. Free rooms you add with one click from vtubepro.com/dlc. Every pack is
signed and checked before it's added. Remove any time.

Guests

  • Two VTube Pro rooms come with the helper. The VTube Pro Studio and the VTube Pro Hangout (lounge, bar and patio):
pick one in Room → Change room, then invite guests right into it.
  • Invite links. Copy a short link or show a QR code. Links stop working after 10 minutes, 30 minutes or 1 hour,
and you let each guest in.
  • You're the host. Hide a camera, mute a mic, set a volume, or cut everyone in one click. One Undo for all of it.
Green room, Remove, and Remove + block.

Good to know

  • Your stuff stays on your computer. Avatars, rooms, settings, keys and recordings live in the helper's folder.
    vtubepro.com stores none of it.
  • The helper only talks to the studio. It runs on your computer and answers https://vtubepro.com only, and only
after you link it with the code.
  • Remove it any time. Windows: Settings → Apps → VTube Pro Helper → Uninstall (or Start menu → Uninstall VTube
    Pro Helper
). Mac: open Uninstall VTube Pro Helper (Spotlight finds it). Linux: one line, see
Remove it. Your avatars, rooms and settings are kept unless you
    say yes to deleting them.
  • Older VTube Pro open? Close it first, then press Open Helper.

Already have the helper? It updates itself to this one the next time you're not live.

What's new in 1.0.0-beta.7

  • You see when your AI waits for your OK. When your AI wants to run a Blender script or build a room, the studio
shows "Your AI is waiting for your OK" with an Open approvals button. With no studio open, the helper opens its
approval page by itself. Approving still happens only on your computer.
  • "Check what Claude made" lists what's waiting. It shows what your AI made and what waits for your OK.
  • Keep hands out of the body. A new option for bulky armour or a big chest: your hands and forearms rest on the
body instead of passing through it. Find it in Me → Arms & hands. Raise Body depth if they still sink in.
  • No more endless loading screen. If your browser can't show 3D (hardware acceleration off, or a Flatpak browser
without the graphics card), the loading screen says so and what to try, instead of stopping at 4%. The studio also
starts when your browser blocks site data.
  • Linux and Mac setup doesn't hang on a slow download. It gives up on a stalled download and tries again.

What's new in 1.0.0-beta.6

  • ComfyUI "Set it up for me" works again. Hugging Face moved its downloads to new servers, and the helper
refused them, so pressing Yes went straight back to step 1. Now it downloads, checks every file and adds the
    recipe to ComfyUI.
  • If a setup stops, the page says why. Press Yes and it continues where it left off. The list shows how much
    is still to download.
  • Your AI's request opens the right recipe. If another setup was still running, the page could show that one
instead. Now it shows the recipe your AI asked for.
  • "Download the file" says what to do next. Drag the file onto ComfyUI, or open it from ComfyUI's Workflow menu.
  • Updates wait for ComfyUI. The helper doesn't update itself while a ComfyUI setup is downloading.

Windows: Settings → Apps → VTube Pro Helper. Mac and Linux: see
    vtubepro.com/helper.
  • Older VTube Pro open? Close it first, then press Open Helper.

VTube Pro Helper 1.0.0-beta.5 (open beta)

The open beta of the VTube Pro Helper: the small free app that links your computer to the studio at
vtubepro.com/studio.

You don't need it to try VTube Pro. Press Go Live! on vtubepro.com and you're in the
studio. Get the helper when you want OBS, guests, your own files, Blender or AI.

Beta: things may change or break. Your stuff stays on your computer; nothing you make is uploaded to us.

Your computer What to do
Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit) Download VTubePro-Helper-Setup-1.0.0-beta.5.exe below and open it.
Mac (macOS 11 or newer, Apple silicon or Intel) Follow vtubepro.com/helper → Mac: copy one line into Terminal. No password.
Linux (64-bit, x86_64 or ARM64) Follow vtubepro.com/helper → Linux: copy one line. No sudo.

What's new in 1.0.0-beta.5

  • Guests arrive dressed. In a party, everyone now sees your outfit and your accessories, with the right fit.
Accessories show for people on 1.0.0-beta.5 or newer. Older versions still see your outfit.
  • Grok Bot can make rooms. In Create → Make a room with your AI, copy the brief into Grok Bot. Grok sends
the room to your helper: press Check what Claude made, then Build.
  • No Python needed for rooms. The room checker now uses the Python inside Blender. You only need Blender (free).
  • LM Studio works with Create. It's free and runs on your own computer, no account needed. VTube Pro adds itself
to LM Studio's tools list. Pick a model that can use tools.
  • The AI guides come with the helper. Claude, ChatGPT and Grok can read how to make avatars, outfits and rooms

Already have the helper? It updates itself to this one the next time you're not live.

What's new in 1.0.0-beta.11

  • Mech and walker avatars. Avatars can now be walking machines: the legs step mechanically while the machine travels
and stand still when it parks. The pilot stays seated, your head is always tracked, and the hands hold the controls while
it walks. Walkers find a clear path around desks and chairs, and every OBS page and party guest sees the same steps.
  • Rooms that fit who's in them. Rooms can change their desk to suit the host (a booster for small avatars, a wider desk
for giants, a docking cradle for a mech), and big characters can get their own entrance. Other rooms work exactly as before.
  • Cameras keep faces in shot for small, normal, giant and mech avatars, and for TV and monitor guests.
  • Walking-ship rooms: a new kind of room that walks across an endless procedural desert while you stream from its deck.
Cities, storms, day and night pass on a shared route, and support events, raids and chat can set off moments on board.
  • Also: each avatar can set how far its arms rest down, and rooms built with their own layout are never moved by the
    automatic fix.

Also new in 1.0.0-beta.10

  • A tidier studio. A new default layout: a grouped side rail, Home tiles, a Tools menu and cards you can fold
away. One notification tray (the bell) collects update notices, guest knocks and messages, with an unread count.
Liked it the old way? Settings → Classic layout brings back today's arrangement exactly. Nothing was removed.
  • OBS follows the studio you're in. With two studio tabs open, the OBS page stays on the one you perform in and
comes back after you switch avatars. Turning the TV guest on and off while it loads no longer leaves OBS on the wrong
    picture.
  • No more OBS hitches from room checks. Checking or importing a room (also when your AI does it) no longer freezes
the OBS picture for a moment.
  • Hand tracking: your face keeps its speed when your hands are up and your graphics card is busy, so lip sync stays
sharp. Clasped hands stay two hands.
  • Window feed: installed or updated ffmpeg? The fast window feed finds it without restarting the helper. AMD and
Intel graphics encoders get proper key frames, so the React feed recovers faster after a hiccup.
  • Fixes: switching avatars many times no longer slowly fills your memory; a renamed invite server now tells you
where to paste the new address instead of "fetch failed"; Kick rewards "Orbital Laser" and "Napalm Airstrike" do
what they say; lip sync uses every camera frame; hiding part of a costume keeps the outline look.
  • AI connectors can add a room for you (it always asks first).
  • In the web studio (reload the page): the same new layout and fixes. See the
    changelog.

Also new in 1.0.0-beta.9

Ctrl+B covers your ...

VTube Pro Helper 1.0.0-beta.10 (open beta)

The open beta of the VTube Pro Helper: the small free app that links your computer to the studio at
vtubepro.com/studio.

You don't need it to try VTube Pro. Press Go Live! on vtubepro.com and you're in the
studio. Get the helper when you want OBS, guests, your own files, Blender or AI.

Beta: things may change or break. Your stuff stays on your computer; nothing you make is uploaded to us.

Get it

Your computer What to do
Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit) Download VTubePro-Helper-Setup-1.0.0-beta.10.exe below and open it.

What's new in 1.0.0-beta.10

  • Free DLC. Free rooms you add with one click from [v...
