Hey everyone, just released v1.2.1 of FiberQ — an open-source QGIS plugin for designing FTTH / GPON / FTTx networks.

This is a compatibility update for QGIS 4.0 / Qt6. The goal of this release is to keep FiberQ working smoothly with the Qt5 → Qt6 transition, without changing existing plugin workflows or functionality.

What’s new in v1.2.1:

QGIS 4.0 / Qt6 Compatibility Fixes — updated PyQt-related compatibility points required by the Qt6 migration, including enum namespaces, dialog execution calls, and sip import handling.

No Intended Functional Changes — this release is meant to preserve the same behavior as v1.2.0, while allowing FiberQ to run correctly in newer QGIS versions.

Contribution Credit — many thanks to Witold Lechowicz for contributing the QGIS 4.0 / Qt6 compatibility fixes.

FiberQ remains fully focused on practical fiber network design and documentation workflows inside QGIS.
