Louder Bridge 0.1.2

This prerelease connects a Work Louder Codex Micro to local Claude Code
sessions in Claude Desktop. It supersedes the unpublished v0.1.1 draft.

What works

  • Hold MIC to speak in Claude Code, then release it to stop.
  • Use the key beside MIC to send text or answer an approval prompt.
  • Use the six Agent Keys to open their assigned Claude Code sessions.
  • See session state on the keys and exterior lighting. Unused keys stay softly
    white. Active sessions use blue, green, amber, and red, including the blue
    breathing effect.
  • Leave the bridge running in the background after one app launch and the two
    required macOS permissions.
  • Keep using the Micro with Codex. Louder Bridge releases the device while
    Codex is open and reconnects after Codex quits.

Fixed in this build

The installer now gives macOS enough time to restart the background agent.
The previous 10-second limit could collide with macOS's own restart throttle
and roll back a healthy upgrade. The corrected transaction completed on the
Mac that reproduced the failure.

Voice input, sending, lifecycle lighting, Agent Key navigation, Bluetooth,
USB-C, device handoff, and automatic reconnection have passed physical tests
on development builds.

On August 4, 2026, the downloaded v0.1.2 package passed its final physical
check. The app upgraded the background agent from v0.1.1 without rollback,
recovered after both macOS permissions were approved, and connected to the
Micro when Claude Desktop opened. All six Agent Keys and the exterior lighting
showed their standby and lifecycle colors and pulse effects. MIC press and
release controlled voice input, the adjacent key sent Return, and the bridge
released the Micro when Claude closed so Codex could use it again.

Privacy

Louder Bridge runs locally. It collects no telemetry, audio, transcripts,
prompt content, project names, or session identifiers. Its local diagnostics
require a private authentication token.

Download

The release contains an Apple Silicon ZIP, its SHA-256 checksum, and an SPDX
SBOM. The app uses an ad-hoc signature, so macOS may require Open Anyway in
System Settings → Privacy & Security on first launch.

Install Louder Bridge.app in Applications, open it once, and approve
Input Monitoring and Accessibility. Normal use does not require Terminal.

This is a prerelease, not the stable v1 release.
