Marklet 1.2

Saving and safety

  • Natural undo: Cmd+Z steps back the way you typed, a burst at a time, and never fights the save.
  • Quiet saving: the "changed by another application" alert no longer appears on your own saves.
  • Unsaved changes backup: a private copy of unsaved work is kept and offered back after a crash, with a side by side View Changes before you restore. Separate toggle in Settings.
  • Version history for manual saves: browse earlier versions in Marklet, with preview, arrow keys, and a confirmation before restoring.
  • A "Saved" confirmation under the title with Auto Save on, and the "Edited" label now renders reliably.

Editing and styling

  • Bold italic text reveals every marker with the caret inside, and code inside bold or italic keeps that emphasis.
  • Choose text, background, selection, caret, and link colors.
  • Continuation lines inherit their block's indent and spacing; foreign line endings survive list and table edits.
  • Shortcut recording refuses reserved and duplicate shortcuts; custom Cmd number bindings take priority over tab switching.

Licensing

  • Seat management from any Mac, including one that hits the seat limit.
  • Keep This Mac Activated pins a seat so only that Mac can deactivate it.
  • Offline grace: two quiet weeks, then warnings, pause at four weeks until Marklet can check in.

Plus a batch of fixes for freezes, images, and styling staleness.
