Website to propose the improvement of Wikipedia´s 3D support.
In February 2018, 3D support was announced in Wikipedia.
Core contributors requested this feature in the 2015 Community Wishlist Survey organized by Community Tech. It was placed in 11th placed in the survey and 1st in the Commons category and ranked 33th in the 2016 Community Wishlist Survey.
The 3D extension was created and the task marked as done allowing to upload 3d models in STL fileformat.
There are around 4000 uploaded 3d models (.stl application/SLA) in Wikimedia Commons today (24/7/2023)
3D support is not present in the 2023 Community Wishlist Survey
