Pi-Harness v1.1.2 is a workspace and appearance patch on v1.1.1: Starship Cockpit with Frost Navigator, sectioned Settings, sidebar order, quieter Git on non-repository folders, and more stable chat streaming.

macOS builds are unsigned unless a signing identity was supplied during packaging. On first launch, use System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway, or run:

xattr -cr /Applications/Pi-Harness.app

Highlights

  • Starship Cockpit · Frost Navigator: Unlock the mascot, enable it, and choose this style. The workspace sits in a starship cockpit with Frost Navigator. Light or dark appearance no longer changes that look.
  • Settings by section: Settings opens as a card grid. Appearance, sidebar order, mascot, workspace, paths, backups, and updates each have their own page.
  • Sidebar order: Drag or use the arrow keys, then save. The sidebar follows the saved order.
  • Workspace demo: The README now leads with a short workspace video.

Reliability

  • Chat streaming and provider API-key options stay intact across session updates. macOS Keychain remains available only on macOS.
  • Opening a project that is not a Git repository no longer shows a Git error. The Git panel stays empty until the folder is a repository.
  • Resizing the cockpit workspace no longer flashes the starfield or chrome.

Upgrade notes

  • From v1.1.1, installed builds should discover this release in the background. macOS auto-update needs the ZIP + latest-mac.yml; DMG is for manual install.
  • Starship Cockpit: Settings → Mascot → unlock if needed → enable the mascot → choose Starship Cockpit · Frost Navigator.
  • Sidebar order: Settings → Sidebar order. Changes apply after save.
  • Existing Node.js 22+ and Pi installs are reused. Provider, model, Skills, and session JSONL paths are unchanged.
  • No new Agent Runtime, terminal, debugger, LSP, or IDE extension host.

Requirements

  • Packaged application: Pi Coding Agent can be installed or repaired from Pi-Harness
  • From source: Node.js ≥ 22 and pnpm 9.12.1

  • 缩放驾驶舱窗口时，星空与舱体不再闪烁。

升级说明

  • 从 v1.1.1 安装的正式包应能后台发现本版本。macOS 自动更新需要 ZIP + latest-mac.yml；DMG 只用于手动安装。
  • 星际驾驶舱：设置 → 看板娘 → 如需则先解锁 → 启用看板娘 → 选择 星际驾驶舱 · 霜蓝导航员。
  • 侧栏顺序：设置 → 侧栏顺序，保存后生效。
