First public release of ssh-forward: a focused CLI that discovers loopback services on a Linux SSH host and keeps selected ports available on localhost through system OpenSSH.

Highlights:

  • Reuses aliases, authentication, and connection settings from ~/.ssh/config.
  • Remembers forwarded ports per SSH host.
  • Automatically installs and maintains a user-scoped background Manager.
  • Uses system OpenSSH and installs no remote agent.
  • Ships prebuilt archives for macOS and Linux on ARM64 and AMD64.

Install with Homebrew:

brew install wangnan0916/ssh-forward/ssh-forward
