1.0.0-beta02 — One-call Android setup
Highlights
Android is now one call. Add the dependency, call KmpInspector.install(this) in your Application, and the inspector collects on its own: the bubble floats over every Activity (XML, Fragments, Jetpack Compose, or a mix — nothing to wrap), fatal crashes are kept across restarts, the app's own logcat streams into Logs, and WorkManager jobs appear in Background Work. install is a no-op unless the build is debuggable.
Two sources still need one line each, because they cannot be seen from outside your code:
OkHttpClient.Builder().addInterceptor(KmpInspectorInterceptor()) // network
KmpInspector.attach(roomDatabase, fileName = "app.db") // databaseFirst beta
Publish from the release tag under the io.github.waqas028 namespace Switch the Maven coordinate to the GitHub-verified io.github.waqas028 namespace (com.waqas028 would need DNS ownership of waqas028.com), and derive the published version from the release tag via -PlibraryVersion so the version is never hand-edited. Local builds fall back to a snapshot. Fix Android font packaging: enable androidResources on the KMP library target so the bundled JetBrains Mono fonts reach the AAR. AGP defaults it off for multiplatform libraries, which left Compose's asset-copy task unconfigured and silently dropped composeResources/ from the Android artifact only. Rework the publish workflow to build from the released tag: derive the version, check out the fully qualified tag ref, and key concurrency per tag. Update the README coordinates, local snapshot paths, and tag format.
