cadastre 0.2.0

Choose a tag to compare

@waratuman waratuman released this 17 Oct 05:31

No sign-in needed for the public datasets.

  • Data commands (datasets, measures, metros, metro, compare, screen, rank) work without cadastre login, as anonymous requests: 30 a minute and 2,000 a day per network address. Signing in (cadastre login, or an API key) raises the limits.
  • cadastre whoami without a login prints "Not signed in (anonymous: public data, 30 requests a minute)" and exits 0.
  • A rate-limited anonymous request suggests cadastre login.
  • cadastre mcp add <client> --sign-in prints the MCP setup that signs in for higher limits; without it, the MCP server works with no sign-in.

First release of the Cadastre CLI.

  • cadastre login (browser OAuth with PKCE, --device for headless machines, or --key for an API key), whoami, logout
  • datasets, measures, metros, metro, compare, screen, rank with human tables or --json; every result prints the sources' required attribution
  • cadastre mcp add <claude-code|codex|cursor|vscode> prints (or with --write, merges) the MCP config for https://getcadastre.com/mcp

Archives are static binaries for Linux (musl) and macOS on x86_64 and arm64, plus Windows x86_64; each comes with a .sha256 and a combined SHA256SUMS that the installer verifies.
